💀 Dying Every Day
Dying Every Day (Stoicism in a Year) is a daily podcast by the Perennial Leader Project. Each episode turns a selected passage from Stoic philosophy into a guided meditation designed to help you (and me) learn how to live the ‘good’ life.

Think Like Socrates with Donald Robertson
Welcome back to Dying Every Day (Stoicism in a Year). This is Day 18, and I’m excited to share my recent conversation with Donald J. Robertson (author of the new book How to Think Like Socrates). If you enjoy audiobooks as I do, I must mention that Donald does a phenomenal job narrating his latest book—I highly recommend it! Donald is also the author of How to Think Like a Roman Emperor and Marcus Aurelius: The Stoic Emperor.
Today’s episode is segment one of three with Donald. This segment focuses on the life of Socrates and his influence on Stoic philosophy. You can watch on YouTube below or listen to Dying Every Day wherever you get your podcasts.

Thank you for listening; I hope you found something useful for daily life.
Regarding the way forward, I plan to do several interview-style episodes like this one. I have conversations scheduled with James Romm (editor of How to Die by Seneca), Massimo Pigliucci (author of the new book Beyond Stoicism), and many more throughout the year!
Since Dying Every Day is a daily podcast, I plan to divide interviews into roughly twenty-minute segments (feel free to let me know what you think of that). I want us to work through this “Stoicism in a Year” project together, so I’m attempting to avoid overloading you with extended episodes.
Until next time, be wise and be well,
J.W.
P.S. If you’re not a subscriber already, I highly recommend Donald Robertson’s Substack: Stoicism: Philosophy as a Way of Life!

This was fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
