Think Like a Mortal with James Romm
Welcome back to Dying Every Day (Stoicism in a Year). This is Day 25, and I’m excited to share another interview-style episode. This conversation is with James Romm (editor of How to Die and How to Have a Life from the Ancient Wisdom for Modern Readers series by Princeton University Press).
James specializes in ancient Greek and Roman culture and civilization. As you’ll hear in the episode, he is highly knowledgeable of Seneca's life and philosophy. He is the author of Dying Every Day: Seneca at the Court of Nero and several others, including a forthcoming book titled Plato and the Tyrant.
Today’s episode is segment one of three with James Romm and focuses on preparing for death and what constitutes a good life.

Think Like Socrates with Donald Robertson
If you missed it, you might also enjoy my conversation with Donald J. Robertson (author of the new book How to Think Like Socrates). In segment one (Day 18) of three with Donald, we focused on the life of Socrates and his influence on Stoic philosophy. You can watch on YouTube below or listen to Dying Every Day wherever you get your podcasts.
