Great discussion. One aha moment for me was the concept that the Stoic virtues are actually just one unified concept. One can think of it as a geometric object with facets of different virtues and these virtues are linked or integrated together to enable one to properly evaluate a situation. Great interview! I appreciate how Massimo connected emotion & reason. The amygdala is interesting - Free Solo climber Alex Honnold has an under-active amygdala. People with borderline personality disorder (like my daughter) have over-active amygdalas.
