Happiness for Mortals
Happiness for Mortals is a weekly video series about what a good life looks like for people who live inside limits, not beyond them. Guided by the great philosophers, it treats happiness not as a feeling to chase but as a life to build, one question (and practice) at a time.

Why Knowing How to Live Isn't Enough
Happiness for Mortals (Vol 1)
Dear Fellow Mortal,
Most hard decisions are not between good and bad.
They are between two good things.
Discipline and flexibility. Freedom and responsibility. Work and rest. Sorrow and joy. Often the wise answer is to hold both. Sometimes a finite life cannot, and then the question becomes what to choose and what that choice will cost.
That is the ground Happiness for Mortals covers, a new video series I launched this week on YouTube. It asks what a good life looks like for people who live inside limits, not beyond them.
Fifty-two short videos, one per week, each centered on a single question and the thinkers who debated it, including Aristotle, Seneca, Aquinas, and the Buddha. Each video stands alone and concludes with a simple practice.
If it helps, consider subscribing to Dying Every Day on YouTube and sharing it with someone who will appreciate it.
