Never stop learning how to live!

📮 Perennial Meditations

Perennial Meditations are short guided contemplations inspired by the writings of Stoics, saints, and sages. These meditations are designed to help you (and me) reflect on what it means to live an intentional life. *** This series is exclusive to members.

Becoming Who You Are

“Become who you are by learning who you are.”
— Friedrich Nietzsche, The Gay Science

Friedrich Nietzsche spent much of his life in tension with the expectations of his age. A sickly, solitary thinker, he wrote not just to describe the world but to provoke the reader into transformation. When he urges, “Become who you are,” he is not offering a slogan, but a demand: stop living as a copy.

We are surrounded by templates—career ladders, social scripts, curated images of “success.” Without noticing, we often outsource our sense of self to these patterns. Nietzsche worries that, in the process, we lose the risk and responsibility of genuine individuality.
